Our Dream Home

My husband and I searched for our new house in Forest Park for months. We were long time renters, and we really wanted our place to be perfect. We aren’t the type of people who get into a thirty-year mortgage lightly, and wanted to make sure if we bought a home, it was a place we wanted to raise a family and stay in for a long time. I have so many friends who have bought homes thinking they would move in a few years and make some money off of their purchase. They didn’t fare so well, and I didn’t want to make the same mistake. We aren’t real estatespeculators, we’re just normal people who wanted to purchase an amazing home. We wanted a place we could stay in and grow in that would be a great value. This was no easy to find, and we were more than excited when we finally found the perfect home for us. As moms, we can't imagine anything cuter than our babies. My son is still so cute, regardless of how stinky and messy he gets, I can still hug him and shower him with kisses. The more my baby “Lord Drake” gets messier, the cuter he gets. Babies stinks too but puppies stinks in a different way. My Baby Back Ribs! ^_^

I am so excited to cook our meal for dinner. So, i was thinking on what to prepare for my husband for him to like it. As I checked our fridge, I got these pork-ribs. Finally, I decided to cook my very own Pork Baby Back Ribs!

wooohh!! It is really rewarding when your husband admire your cooking. Just to please him totally, I looked for a seasoning and spices to be mixed on my specialty. Afterwards, I’ve been busy cooking my first-time recipe.

Lastly, I made it! Hahaha..I don’t know if he likes the taste. I hope he will.

While eating,I got this feedback from my husband. Oopps! It’s a positive feedback! He loves it in short!

Steve Jobs cause of death

Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011) was an American inventor and entrepreneur. He was co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc.

"Respiratory arrest was listed as the immediate cause of death, with 'metastatic pancreas neuroendocrine tumor' listed as the underlying cause, according to the certificate, Bloomberg said. ”Jobs’ death occurred five years after the onset of the tumor, according to the certificate."

Jobs, 56, died about 3 p.m. last Wednesday at his home in Palo Alto, Bloomberg News said. The Santa Clara County Public Health Department issued the death certificate Monday.

Mr. Jobs spent his final weeks — as he had spent most of his life — in tight control of his choices. He invited a close friend, the physician Dean Ornish, a preventive health advocate, to join him for sushi at one of his favorite restaurants, Jin Sho in Palo Alto.

But, mostly, he spent time with his wife and children — who will now oversee a fortune of at least $6.5 billion, and, in addition to their grief, take on responsibility for tending to the legacy of someone who was as much a symbol as a man.

A few weeks ago my husband decided that he was going to need some type of work boots, as his customary athletic tennis shoes were proving to lack sturdiness and the support that he needs to be on his feet all day at work. Baby registry

We just found out last week that we are pregnant with our first baby! I was so excited when we found out and I went the next day to begin a baby registry. I was so overwhelmed when I went to the store to register because I had no idea there were so many things that a baby needs. I also was unsure whether a baby actually needs everything in the baby superstore. I had no idea there were a million different types of bottles and pacifiers. I registered for a few standard items like diapers and wipes, then realized that I did not know the sex of the baby yet. We live in a world where merit is important. In school, our intelligence is measure by our grades. In extra-curricular activities, the one who has more talents will get the better role. In some families, children are being compared with one another.

Unfortunately, we tend to carry his mindset even in our work for the Lord and in our striving to be holy. We have a tendency to measure against other people how much we are doing and what we are giving for God. Sometimes, we unconsciously choose to be with people we believe inferior to us so that we are assured of the spotlight. We prefer to be praised than to give praise. In so doing, we are missing the point that we should only compare ourselves to our Lord Jesus Christ. How he had lived his life on earth in perfect obedience to our father in heaven should be our one point of measurement.

Do you compare yourself with others just affirm that you are good?

In line with the Miss Universe Pageant that was held last September 12, 2011 in Brazil, I must say that the result was just clear-cut. For me, Angola got the best answer and she deserves to be called Miss Universe. 

 I am Filipino, yet I can say Supsup’s answer was not in reality. I don’t think you will refuse or not to marry the person you love just because of the RELIGION. It seems she was just like being hypocrite on what she had answered.  As we all know, Religion can’t save you! Only your faith; Strong and pure faith that unite between YOU and GOD will save you.

But nevertheless, I still respect Miss Shamcey’s answer. I am also proud with what shamcey had done but this is a competition and should accept what had turned out. In the first place, the world rather the universe sees that we Filipinos are really beautiful and wise.

Filipinos posed for a while, gazed and focused on the television just to watch Miss Univerese 2011 and praying for Miss Shamcey’s success.

Shamcey Supsup may not have taken the vague international beauty title but to a lot of Filipinos, she still is a true winner.

Shamcey Supsup, who was described as having a "mega-watt smile" during the pageant also placed second in the competition's online ranking for the evening gown. Out of 89 candidates, Supsup, 25, placed third runner-up in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant held in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Shamcey is the lone candidate who did not seek the help of an interpreter during the final Q& A.

Question: Would you change your religious beliefs to marry the person you love? Why or why not?

Miss Philippines - Shamcey Supsup Answer: If I had to change my religious beliefs, I would not marry the person that I love because the first person that I love is God who created me and I have my faith and my principles and this is what makes me who I am. And if that person loves me, he should love my God too.

Maxima Aqua Fun Resort is the finest place for fun slides beaches. It doesn't have shore like other beaches do. So must have a life vest provided by the management. It has a bluff on the edge with two giant slides that extend towards the water. You can also get in to snorkeling and have an exciting view of their prodigious corals and fishes that’s totally inviting and learn more of the wonders of underwater world. If you want to try a boat ride, you can cherry-pick from Banana boating or kayaking. And if you want wild and extreme try their Jets Ki ride; certainly, it would really be amusing for you and your friends. Also enjoy their Canopy Walk, a must try thing and be ready to walk in a wobbly and trembling bridge until you ended it to other side.

I don’t understand why some people don’t distinguish the virtue of others. Those who lend their help, those who give value, and those who show concerns are those who don’t appreciate much by the concerned-person! And those people that I can really see that they are just using person to make money and to raise their life even they hurt and ruin people’s life are well-recognized!

Sometimes, Life is so unfair! Or we may call it some people are Unfair! I just can’t imagine that I knew some people who seem like this. With just one hurtful word of this GOOD person, all is gone! (I knew that he did it because he doesn’t want to see people get hurt as well. He only defends that person) Now, That unfair person forgot everything the good deeds of this KIND MAN. Thinking that all he did for this UNFAIR PERSON was a help without any exchange. I hate it!

I have realized, maybe the UNFAIR PERSON more valued the USER PERSON than to the KIND PERSON ‘cause they have the same vices and they love to chat, drink, and laugh(NON-SENSE!). Though he sees the greedy moves of this user!

Why is it hard for you to understand that I'm getting jealous if you'll give attention to others whom i don't like most? I HATE YOU when i see you happy with them. It seems you enjoyed talking with them than talking with me.

There were times, when we were with them; you’ll just ignored me and left alone at the corner. It hurts! But I have to; i have to pretend that i am OK. Be sensitive in everything please, it’s annoying! Snubbing me, gives me insecurity :(

I am sorry. I don't like them. I tried to mingle with them, but nothing has changed. I pray that you will give me some space in your heart.

Where I have my job, it's not like it's really acceptable to wear a lot of eye makeup. Actually most days I'll just wear tinted moisturizer, mascara and a little bit of blush so I don't look like a corpse. But the really sad thing is that I absolutely love to wear makeup! I love this moment. It was a blissful night together with my colleagues. A lot of surprising presentations captured my attention. We ate yummy foodstuff, taking-up pictures & videos, and chatting around with anybody.

It was really indeed hilarious!

I just wish the company will persist this social gathering.
